Use of this website 

Jazz Advisory does not collect any personal data from visitors to this website. We may receive data from you via the ‘Contact Form’ functionality. If this is the case, Jazz Advisory will be the ‘Data Controller’. 

Data stored

If you contact Jazz Advisory via this form, we will have access to your name, email address and free text queries that you attach as part of that form. We do not collect any data such as cookies or IP addresses. Only the data you provide in the Contact Form will be available to us, which will be via an email inbox. This data is only used for the purposes of responding to the specific query(ies) that you send. 

What is done with this data 

Data from the Contact Form is never shared with any third party outside of Jazz Advisory (unless where this is appropriate or specifically asked for, e.g. a specific partner with which Jazz Advisory collaborates with). Data is never sold to any third party. 

How long data is kept

Email data from the Contact Form will be stored securely indefinitely unless you specifically request us to delete this information as this is deemed ‘corporate information’.

Children’s privacy protection

Our consulting services are not intentionally targeted at children aged 18 years of age or younger. Only adults should use the Contact Form functionality. 

Where your data is processed and stored

We design, build and run our systems to make sure that your data is as safe as possible at all stages, both while it’s processed and when it’s stored. All data collected from the Contact Form is stored in the United Kingdom. 

How we protect your data and keep it secure

We are committed to doing all that we can to keep your data secure. We have set up systems and processes to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure of your data - for example, we protect your data using varying levels of encryption. We also make sure that any third parties that we deal with keep all personal data they process on our behalf secure.

Your rights

You have the right to request:

  • information about how your personal data is processed

  • a copy of that personal data

  • that anything inaccurate in your personal data is corrected immediately

You can also:

  • raise an objection about how your personal data is processed

  • request that your personal data is erased if there is no longer a justification for it

  • ask that the processing of your personal data is restricted in certain circumstances

The use of specific datasets from research or other consultancy projects

Jazz Advisory may process data as part of specific research projects or other engagements. Any transfers of data are subject to the conditions of a specific project (i.e. length of use, methods with which it is analysed, requirements for data destruction). 

These data will typically be de-identified, handled in accordance with project-relevant ethical approvals, and stored as per the conditions of the specific project.

These data are stored securely on cloud servers in the United Kingdom, retained only as long as the project terms and conditions stipulate, and will only be analysed by appropriately qualified individuals (each of which will have completed appropriate training on Data Security).
